In 2023 teachers are estimated to spend $800 of their own money for supplies needed to ensure our children have the best chances to succeed throughout the school year.

Background: After posting that we’d like to help local teachers with their wish lists, we were amazed at how many submissions came in.

We realized that in addition to checking some items off these lists, there was a greater opportunity to use the digital reach we’re so fortunate to have to help share these wish lists with our nearly 35,000 local followers.

Twice a week we’ll pick 2 teacher wish lists at random to feature on our Facebook & Instagram. We also have the link above for all the wish lists we’ve received thus far for teachers in Cincinnati and the surrounding communities.

Our hope is that by giving the local teacher wish lists a home on our website and getting more eyes on them through social media, it may help teachers check items off their lists little by little from other amazing people in the community.

Everyone can help! In today’s social media driven world, you don’t need to contribute financially to help local teachers check items off their lists. Sharing to your own followers can be just as impactful to help get more eyes on these!
